About Little Footsteps (Porthcawl) Ltd.

Our Pyle nursery is situated on Heol Mostyn Village Farm industrial estate. We are able to walk short distances to local parks and visit the community library and local shops. The building is ideally suited to becoming a childrens day nursery due to the layout of the premises and the large open garden space..

The nursery is all on two levels, all rooms are light and airy. There are three main rooms downstairs, one designed for our preschool children, one for our toddler children and our main hall area for all messy and indoor physical activities will take place, there is a separate area upstairs for our babies, there is a separate kitchen, toilets and hallway. The design and layout of the nursery makes it a safe environment for all children including those with additional needs, especially our newly designed sensory room.

Our nursery in south road is ideally situated close to town and local sights and amenities. We are able to walk short distances to local parks and the community library. The building has been purpose built as a Girl Guide hall and has only recently in the last 5 years been used as a children's nursery.

The nursery is all on ground level all rooms are light and airy. We also have a outdoor space to the front and rear of the building to which we also use to its full potential, adapting and accommodating the children`s routines to incorporate the outdoor environment.

There are two main rooms, the main hall has been designed to implement the foundation phase curriculum for our preschool children and a separate area for our toddler children to explore and learn. There is a separate room for our babies to be cared and nurtured. Our babies and toddlers are encouraged to learn in a holistic way. The design and layout of the nursery makes it a safe environment for all children including those with special needs.

little footsteps nursery porthcawl All of our foods are cooked on the premises and all dietary requirements are catered for, we have a four weekly menu which is nutritionally balanced and contains lots of fruit and vegetables, to keep up with their `five a day`. We strive to give healthy snacks and the children`s views are used to devise our menu`s, regarding preferences and making decisions on the final choices for the final menu.

In both nurseries all of our staff are qualified to be working and caring for young children to at least a level 3 with management qualified up to level 5. We also regularly update child protection courses, food hygiene courses and first aid courses, to keep in line with any new legislation, and any changes.
